Personally, besides graphing link interface stats, one of the biggest reasons why I'm interested in NetMRG is the ability to graph lm-sensors data. Temperature trends are particularly interesting to me in my equipment.
It took me a while to figure out how to set things up in NetMRG (really, I just needed to read the tutorials), but once I did, I realized that it would be really really nice to have a Sensors Cache, similar to our Disk Cache and Interface Cache.
Perhaps the ability to define your own custom caches would be appropriate? Either way, I'd like to be able to set up sensor graphs as easily as I set up disk and interface graphs...

Yep, we agree! There's a bunch of other uses and it's probably even on our todo list. You'll just have to wait around until we get the thing implemented, though; it may take us a bit.
