Good Day,

I have several sub-ifs that, when originally the Device is cached the ifAlias is displayed, however once entered as a monitored device, the ifAlias information disappears and no longer is available, in either the snmp_interface_cache or sub_dev_variables tables.

Being able to have this information displayed in the graphs for these types of interfaces will help greatly. I have been able to do it on other interface types, but it seems there may be something stoping the recording of ifAlias for anything but certain ifTypes.

Seems after manually applying the updated mappings.cpp patch from 1.6 to 1.7 it fixed it.
