Hello !

I'm using NetMRG 0.16 on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Server.

When I try to see the Device Tree, I've this error:
----------------------------------
Warning: session_start(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in /usr/local/var/www/netmrg/include/config.php on line 36

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /usr/local/var/www/netmrg/include/config.php:36) in /usr/local/var/www/netmrg/include/config.php on line 36

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/var/www/netmrg/include/config.php:36) in /usr/local/var/www/netmrg/lib/auth.php on line 118

Warning: Unknown(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0
--------------------------------

Then, if I "refresh the screen", all seems to be ok and I can work with the application. Every time that I "click" the device tree link and I'm not in this section yet, the error appears another time.

Any idea??

Thanks.

Googling for more info basically says to check permissions on your session.save_path directory. I haven't really found a solution yet, but this error has been seen by a number of other people using different software programs.

Do you happen to have RealOne player installed? Found a thread here which pointed fingers at that particular program.

thanks keb...

I can continue googling... :)

I don't have RealOne player installed... I only have installed the minimum packets needed by NetMRG and nothing more...

It works perfect until this error appears for the first time... Now, it works (more or less) but with this error, warning, bug, .....

If anyone can help me... ;)

Thanks in advance.

TOni.
