The graphs don't appear and when I pun "&debug=1" into the url, I get this:

What exactly are you trying to do when viewing these graphs? It looks like you're trying to view the graphs for the template linux box, which is just a template device for those items (disks, traffic graphs, cpu, etc) that don't contain any actual data.
Have you setup your own device and started graphing data that way, or modified the template linux box to monitor a real device?
