|
|
We've a Sun Solaris 8 server with the interface card beeing monitored.
The problem is the graph is discontinued and it's not real...
We're looking for a solution in the forums but we don't have luck.
Netmrg version: netmrg-0.18.2
OS NetmrgServer: Solaris 8

Toni. |

Is it possible for you to take a screenshot or save the graph output somewhere and link to it from the forums so we can see what you're describing?

Hello, to see the graph visit this URL:
http://80.34.165.248/index.html
Until now, we are using the Sun Solaris snmp daemon:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root@ESS025CRM14 (/)> ps -ef | grep snmpd
root 404 1 0 Jan 25 ? 0:27 /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx -y -c /etc/snmp/conf
root 14535 14516 0 15:35:33 pts/11 0:00 grep snmpd
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What happens if you let the graph auto-scale (remove the max height)? Is the data shown then?
I'm wondering if the traffic just isn't high enough to make it over the 'zero bar' on a graph with that scale. You're only doing ~0.4Mbps on a 100Mbps graph.

Hello,
the problem is the same... You could visit the same website:
http://80.34.165.248/index.html
and take a look.
Thanks,
Toni. |

There's a couple possibilities here:
1) You're exceeding the min/max on the monitors. Go to Admin -> (find your device) -> (choose your network subdevice) -> edit the bytes in monitor. Make sure the min/max is correct for your expected throughput.
2) There's a network connectivity problem.
3) The gatherers are stepping on each other. You can do a 'ps ax' and make sure there aren't multiple netmrg-gatherer's running at the same time.
See if any of these pan out for you.
