Ok, I admit it, I am stupid, but.... how do I add notifications? I think I have to somehow create an event which then triggers a notification. I found out how to create this notification (well, it's easy. it's on the left bar), but how to create an event? I looked up the docu, the forums, searched through the web interface, but I must be blind or somehow else missing it.

Any hint on where to start would be highly appreciated!

No, you're not crazy, it's just not documented yet.

You'll have to go down through groups, your device, your subdevice, and finally click on your monitor to get to the event and condition manager. You'll add events to your particular monitor, and condition levels for that event. You can then tie notifications to your events there.

If you need some more desciption on how to use this, let us know.

I'm stuck on notifications. I can't find anything in the manual about it. I tried mail notifications but no luck.
In notification commands you say:
You may use keywords %dev_name%, %ip%, %test_name%, %test_result% in your command parameters

but a simple mail -s 'test' mail@whatever.com failed.

Also, on response parameters what is allowed, the same variables as above?

Either a small howto or examples would be very appreciated Very Happy
